I trust that you have all been keeping up to date with your reading and practicing the Pronounce It! method.
By Friday, you should have finished the first 4 chapters of the Book of Philippians and have finished Day 7.How are you finding it? Easy? Strange? Boring? Interesting?
You'll get the opportunity to discuss that with your group leaders this week.
I like how Rick Warren is teaching us HOW to meditate on God's word. I find that I am getting a lot more "juice" out of the Word although sometimes it feels like the verse doesn't really make sense if you "over" break down the verse.
As you can tell from the very very cute picture, this Friday we will be learning a different method of meditating on God's Word, namely Picture It!
For the Micah challenge, I strongly encourage you all to participate in the volunteering activity that we are doing with Volunteer Task Force on Saturday 29 September 2012. It will begin from 8am to 1:30pm. Start talking to your parents about it so they know what is going on and especially if you need their permission to attend. Remember that you will need to get forms from Alice to sign up.
