40 Days in the Word #1

Come join us at youth for the kick off of 40 days in the WORD! 

As the title says it all, we are spending 40 days immersed in the precious word of God. I'm sure some of you are hesitant in coming every Friday to do bible study AND on top of that, needing to complete your daily devotions. But I guess we often forget how important God's word is. We spend everyday of our lives studying to graduate (12 years in school to say the least), yet we hesitate to spend 40 days studying what our whole lives should follow.

Here's an excerpt from Rick Warren that wraps up what this is all about -

"How many times do you doubt God’s Word, fall prey to others who attack its reliability or not live out its content? Too many of God’s people don’t know God’s Word, don’t really believe God’s Word or don’t ’do’ God’s Word. Forty Days in the Word will transform you from ’hearers’ to ’doers."
