Reflections

When was the last time you took a deep breath, a step back and just looked at your life? Maybe it was just then, or maybe it's been a while. Sometimes when we look back, moments and events are quite clear but there were also times where things were a bit clouded or didn't quite make sense. We know that prayerful reflection is important, asking God for truths that may have been missed in lives that seemed to be filled with so much junk, expectations and at times, too much of ourselves. This week we are reflecting both individually and communally. We will be asking the questions of where we missed Christ in our lives and also acknowledging Christ for all the times we didn't! Bring an open heart and mind, be willing to bring forth questions and prayers; as we continue to strive towards a life bound in prayer but most of all, be expectant for revelation!

Here's a little something to think about through the week:
Christ is love. Vulnerability demonstrated love. We are loved. To love is to be vulnerable and to be vulnerable is to be open, honest and transparent.
