Hey youthies!!
With holidays fast approaching for many of you (and some of you are already on break!!!) - I have no doubt many of you guys are either wondering what you're going to do with all that free time, or busy catching up on all the tv series you've missed out on or valuable facebook time!
With holidays fast approaching for many of you (and some of you are already on break!!!) - I have no doubt many of you guys are either wondering what you're going to do with all that free time, or busy catching up on all the tv series you've missed out on or valuable facebook time!
That being said, I want to emphasise on the fact that it's important for us, as christians, to INTENTIONALLY spend time doing the things that are IMPORTANT. That is, building a deeper relationship with God and with one another. Regardless of season, we have to keep the main thing the main thing!!
3 months is a LONG time that can really bring transformation to your values, perspective, and life if you use it wisely. I believe a Christ-Centred holiday will do you far more good than any other holiday plans! As such, this week we're going to do a session on STRATEGIC PLANNING. We'll share with you guys to distinguish between whats important and whats urgent (often gets mixed up but two very different things!), and how to plan in such a way that you'll actually achieve your ambitious goals.
We may not have youth over the holidays but that does not mean that God cannot work in your lives! Lets plan in such a way to allow God to transform us day by day over our entire break! I'll unfortunately be at the airport around the time when youth is on but the rest of this absolutely amazing team will be taking care of you guys!
PS. Elections will take place this Friday too - look forward to voting and finding out who your new leaders will be for 2016!!!
