Into the Word: Looking into Luke

Where is the first tennis match mentioned in the Bible?

When Joseph served in pharaoh’s courts. :D EHHHHHH?

Haven been given an overview of the Old Testament and laid a foundation for the new, we will be venturing into Luke. Now that we have a better idea of means for us when God reached out to His people and paved a way for Jesus, how much more important should the word mean for us in our lives when it’s provided right in front of us! As we look into the word, we will also look into ways to ACTIVELY read the bible. Sometimes we fall into a cycle of opening, reciting and closing the book without actually interpreting the significance and weight of it all. To read the bible also means to pray, observe, interpret, apply and proclaim. Sounds a little heavy, but you gotta trust me when I say it brings the words to life! This week we will be reading into, talking and sharing about that a little so bring your books when big truths pop up! Luke knows what's up.

Thoughts for the week:
How has a verse or passage shaped and impacted your life today? How did God bring about transformation or revelation through it?
