BIG Thank you

I'm sure all of you enjoyed Iron Chef last night and had a fun time making and eating the pizzas.... even if some of them tasted a little strange.  I was particularly impressed with Ronnie's pizza making skills with making the thin crust.    

I just want to take this opportunity to thank Roslyn and Christina  who made it all happen.  The ladies put in a monumental effort buying all the groceries, mystery ingredients, setting up the tables and equipment, planning everything from the games, judge score sheets and prizes to the other nitty gritty stuff that goes on behind the scenes to make what was a very entertaining program.


I also want to say that I am very encouraged and happy to see so many of you helping to clean up, wash the dishes, clear the tables, throw out the scraps and mop the floors.  Eddie, Alice, Esmund, Edward to just mention a few ... I know there were many more that I missed who helped out even though they were not rostered for refreshment clean up.  


I thank God for all your faithful service in the Youth.  It's good to see everyone pitching in as that is the makings of a godly and mature youth fellowship, that's what youth is all about.  Keep up the good effort and may God continue to grant you joy in your service.

Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other.  Never be lazy, but work hard and serve the Lord enthusiastically.
