Haha, not to be kaypoh or anything, but I can make this site look and function like theirs if you want. And then after that all you need is for one or some of you to actively maintain the template, and add updates on the sidebar manually.
A website is hard to maintain but a blog is a lot easier. Charmaine is right. The most important thing is a person committed to the updates of the blog.
As for the person who started the MYF Nedlands blog. You see him every Friday and Sunday at Church
