Dinner at Rev Chew's!

This Friday, to celebrate end of exams and tests, we're all going to have dinner at Rev Chew's house. Please bring friends and a dish (if you can), but let Rev Chew know if you are.

AMYC 2009!!! ~~~

Every year an Australian Methodist Youth Convention is held at selected cities around Australia and this year it's at PERTH! And our church has the privilege to be the host of this year's Australian Methodist Youth Convention!

The convention will be held on 29th Nov to 2nd Dec at Ern Halliday Recreation Camp.The theme for this year is 'Called to Lead' and the special speaker for this topic at AMYC will be Rev. Dr. Brian Harris.

Registration forms are out and are available on the EMYF board. The early bird fee of $155 is currently still available so be quick in registering cos it will be over on 16th August (Sunday).

We seriously encourage you to mark the dates down in your diary and consider on coming along! It will be a guaranteed fastastic time spent getting to know more about God and our fellow brothers and sisters from Chinese Methodist youth groups all around Australia!

This is one of my favourite songs which our choir has sung. It is a beautiful song, based on 2 Chronicles 7:14 (KJV):

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

It was sung sometime in 2007... I think March.
