This Friday we will be continuing our Bible Study series "Four Great Loves". This week we are studying chapter 3 - Loving God's Word: Our Guide for Life.

It is based on Psalm 119:97-112

23 September: Outing!

Hey folks!

As you probably know, this week Youth Group will not be on Friday but rather will be the next day - Saturday morning (23 September). It's a combined gathering with the Chinese MYF at McCallum Park in Victoria Park. The purpose of the gathering is twofold; firstly, to know our brothers and sisters in the CMYF better, and secondly, to encourage each other in Christ.

Here is a map of the place (indicated by the red dot), in case you are not sure. McCallum Park is just off Taylor Street, which in turn is off Canning Highway. (Click on the picture to get a higher resolution image.)

Time: 10:00am - 12:30pm

If you do not have transport, please call our transport officer, Rebecca, on 0411 141 713. It will last until about 12:30 (or soon after), and lunch is included of course!

The program includes praise & worship, some games, a talk, sharing in small groups, and of course eating (yum yum for my tum tum).

CMCA Annual Youth Convention 2006

The time has come! The annual CMCA youth convention is coming. Have you registered yet? This year the youth convention will be held from the 4th-7th December in Melbourne.

The Chinese session speaker will be Rev. Dr. Su Chii Ann, who is the President of the Sarawak Annual Conference of Malaysian Methodist Church. The speaker for the English session will be Dr. Omar Djoeandy who is the Australian SIM (Serving In Mission) Director, and a trained doctor!

If you wish to go to this camp, please kindly register with our Vice-Chairperson, Sing Ching Lee. All applications received before 17/09/06 will receive a $10 early bird discount on camp fees. That is this Sunday, folks! We will be discussing about the camp in general (including transport and accommodation) after youth this week, so if you want to come, make sure you let Sing Ching know by Friday.

The camp application will close on 05/11/06.

It's a night put on by the guys for all the lovely girls in our youth group. What are we going to do for you? Hrm, I'm not going to reveal much except that it's going to be better than last time!

So girls, see you at 7:30pm this Friday. Bring your friends - I'll be asking my friends too!
